Fullhouse + Tutti Frutti

Greetings lovely people..
Happy 53rd Merdeka day!
And happy 8 months anniversary to me! (^_^) How time flies..
Since I am on "holiday" mood, I feel blogging today.
Yesterday, I managed to get approval for my annual leave..I will be on leave from 7th -17th September 2010! yahoo~
Looking forward to the well-deserved break!

Here are some pictures from yesterday's berbuka @ Sunway Giza. Here's me at 32 weeks pregnant..

We decided to break fast at Fullhouse, named after that very famous Korean Sitcom. It has very nice interior (chandelier lights, tulips, everything white..), and food price range are reasonable too.

I decided to eat their chicken chop, served with mashed potatoes & bok choy. Verdict: Yummy! Their chicken chop is not the battered kinds, it is baked. Mashed potatoes were nice & soft. But, to be honest, I could still feed myself a little bit more. Perhaps should have ordered an appetizer to fill my tummy. But overall, sedap! * I was the first to finish the food actually. Munckin must be really hungry! *

As for drinks, I ordered their "flower" tea, lavender flavour. Wanted a chilled drink at first, but since I had a slight cold, I ordered something warm instead. It came in a pot, and it's refillable! But the cup is super small! The smell of the lavender was refreshing, sometimes I feel like I am drinking a detergent! :P Verdict: It's different, but nice. But would love to try their chilled drinks, served in a mini jug.

Post photo... being fulled from full house.. hehe

Next, we're off for desserts! Farah recommended Tutti Frutti, a shop which I saw in Bangsar the other day. Basically, it is a self serviced frozen yogurt ice cream parlour, where you choose your own flavour & your own toppings. Then, you go to the counter, the person will weigh you ice cream & you pay.

My ice cream combo: A mix of Tutti Frutti, Peach & Mango Ice cream Yogurt.

Toppings: nuts, sprinkles, milo cereals

Mine, shades & farah's ice creams before.

And not long after... like how shades put it " Licin dot com dot my". hehe..

My verdict: SUPER DELICIOUS!!! I definitely wanna go again with Mr Bert, my family, my little cousins.. Next time, I wanna choose other flavours & put MORE topping on my ice cream. Even Munckin loves it, moving a lot everytime I take a scoop of the ice cream.

I wanna eat lotsa Tutti Frutti before Munckin is born.. which is less than 8 weeks for now. Once a week ain't that bad, right? :P

Munckin is one lucky baby.
Yesterday, Farah gave Isetan Cash Voucher as a belated wedding-cum-pregnancy present, I was thrilled!
And Kak Long called, saying that I don't need to buy anymore baju/ bibs/ pants for the baby, cause she is gonna hand over Misha's baby things to me. 1 full bag of baby things! So now, I can concentrate on buying things for...ME! Nursing bras, nursing tops, etc.

Alhamdulillah, rezeki Munckin betul.. Thank you Aunty Farah & Aunty Rini :D

rainbow velvet cake

I kinna crave for this:-

Rainbow velvet cake! yummmers.....

Anyways, had a very hectic weekend. Shopping with Kak Long is fun, but it is full on. Shops after shops. A true shopaholic if you ask me..heehee..

She saw the things I bought for Munckin, and said it wasn't "sufficient".. I need to buy MORE things for Munckin's arrival! So managed to buy some things, but the remaining I will buy once my salary is in. I am planning for a long raya break next week, so I still got time before the Mega Sale ends.

During her shopping spree, we entered Baby Gap, and I saw this white shirt & jeans (exactly what Mr Bert wore during the maternity photoshoot), but in Baby size!! It was TOO cute! But, it costs RM 200 for both.. *gulps* Like duh, the brand! Oh well, I wouldn't mind to get that as one of my wish list! *hint hint* I will try to come out with the list of things that I don't mind receiving for Munckin, a.k.a the "Munckin's wish list".. when I start my leave next week, this will be one task that needs to be done.

Mr Bert has left & arrived in New Fort last Saturday, and I will only see him for berbuka on Friday. That's a week apart! :( I've noticed Munckin makes less movements as compared when Mr Bert is at home. I bet Munckin's is missing daddy.. I will residing at my parent's home until Mr Bert comes back.

And yes, I am (again) on MC today. Met the eye doc again, she said my eyes' condition has improved (alhamdulillah), but I just need to keep on taking the eye drops, and I am off contacts for 2 weeks. That means masa raya, I will be a specky! hmmphh...

Despite me being on MC today, but I still need to attend the HOS meeting at 3pm today. boohoo~ Oh well, that's my commitment to the job. Tonight, berbuka with the gals again.. looking forward to the restaurants at Sunway Giza..Adios for now~

updates from week 26-week 30

I just got back from the Eye Specialist.. It's confirm that I have a mild conjunctivitis. So I am off contact lenses for now. I had this infection 2 years ago, now it strikes again. sigh..

Well, now that I have a little bit time to update the 4 weeks that has past..I shall update starting from the most recent event.

Week 30- Maternity Photoshoot!
Remember how I became a "model" for the Parenthood event? As a token of appreciation, the organizer gave each model a complimentary photoshoot session by Covershots (located in Kelana Jaya) + a free 8R print. The photoshoot was supposed to be next week, but since Mr Bert will be going back to KB for 5 days (boohoo~), we had to reshedule the shoot early.

To be honest, the photosession was rather shot. Only for about 30 mins (I did my own make up before arriving to the shop). The photographer took our pictures inside their studio first before proceeding to the outdoor shoot. All together there were 44 shots taken (since it was a complimentary session, I can't be asking for more!).

I went to view the photos a few days back, and loved the best 12 photos that was taken. So, we've decided to take the album package, compliments from my mom as my early birthday gift! *yeay*

I wasn't able to upload all 12 pics for this entry, here are my fav 3 shots:-

Week 30- Cookie Monster & Elmo came to my school!
One of my vendors called up to ask if these 2 creatures can visit my school..and of course I said "YES!". It was to promote their upcoming show at Bukit Jalil early September, which my cousin Kak Long is going with her daughter Misha. My children has mixed reactions:- some were scared looking at the 7 foot tall creatures, but most were excited & keep on hugging, touching and laughing when looking at them!hehe.. Hopefully they'll do another show when Munckin is bigger!:)

Week 28- Tahlil at Tuk's crib
Almost every year, Tuk will have a tahlil to menyambut ramandhan at her place. That's when most of my cousins, aunties, uncles will meet before the raya gathering. Mr Bert & I were a bit late that day, as we were caught up in traffic at Tun Razak. This photo was taken when we were skyping with Uncle Dan, Aunty Maznah & Liyana from New York. We didn't get to talk much cause there were too many ppl making so much noise.. so just a quick hello, and we continued eating..hehe..

Week28- Farah's Birthday @ Subak
It was initiated by Farah's hubby, Fadhli, to have a so-called surprise birthday celebration for Farah, but he didn't want to make it over-the-top (Fadhli as always, the selamba type..hehe). I sponsored the Birthday cake, which kinna turned out to be a suprise..Food wise, it was okay, but quite pricey. Thank you Fadhli for the belanje! And Farah, Happy Sweet 17..hehehehe....

Week 27- Serena's Birthday @ Chillies
Unfortunately, the hour before meeting up with the girls I was not feeling well. I had a splitting headache & vomited right before meeting up with Serena. But, I wanted to hang out with the girls. So I stayed on..chilling & hanging out with the girls (semangat 1Malaysia..) before driving back home. Next day, I vomited what I had for dinner. I was on MC for that day. (Such drama) Anyways, Happy 27th bday Serena! :)

Week 27- Antenatal Class
It was the first antenatal class held at the new hospital. There were 2 topics that we have covered during the Parenthood Event previously: the nutrition part & the breast feeding part, but it was a good recap. During the "Pregnancy & Labour Processes" talk, the doc explained the complication that might occur during delivery. When she showed the graphic photo of labour, I could still handle it. But when she showed the "actual real life photo"..euwww, I just looked away! Please don't scare me now! The "Breathing Techniques during Labour" talk was interesting, we even get to 'dance' and get free massages from our husbands, but I wished there was more role-play for these breathing techniques, like how in the movies used to show. There were too many theories on that day.. I did write down the techniques, but I hope I will remember on the actual day!
Overall, I think this class can be further improved if they have more hands on things. Like if I were to compare, the Parenthood Event had more interesting hands-on activities, like bathing the baby, or changing nappy. These are the duties that we as parents-to-be need to aware of. The hospital should invest on more baby mannequin so that we can have an idea to prepare ourselves for the new future. Also, they actually have 1 whole hour talk about Pain relief (epidural). I mean, it should take maybe 15 mins or 3o mins, not the whole hour. Now I don't even wanna consider to have the pain relief (Please Allah let me bear the pain!)

Anyways, there are some photos of the actual class here. If you see properly, the guy wearing white at the corner of the room, that's Mr Bert. We actually sat at the first row!

Week 26- I-City Night Lights
It was Mr Bert's idea to visit this place after the July Birthday celebration, and it was worth it. I-City is very close to my home, one would only need to pay RM 2 for parking, and then you will enter this magical place of lights! I feel like I was in another place, like Korea or Disneyland... It is a nice "escape" to go with your loved ones. Dzhofier loved it so much.. said it was one of the best nights ever! hehe..

Day26- July Birthday Celebration.
Every year (Since Mr Bert was still a bf back then), we have celebrated the trio July boys birthdays every year. In conjunction of the World Cup, we decided to have the birthday theme "WorldCup Fever", with everybody wearing jerseys of their favourite team. (I wasn't really a South African fan, but that's the biggest jersey that can fit me!). And of course, we had charades for our games, but this time was TV programs, which is harder compared to songs/movies! But we had a great time indeed!

With the latest picture of Munckin.. :)

Week 26- Munckin's 5th check up @ DEMC

In this picture, Munckin is turning to the side, so can't see the face. Munckin looks the same as how Mr Bert when he sleeps to the side. Muka dadddy ke? Hmm...

We visited the new hospital building, and I must say it was pretty impressive! I am SO happy that finally the hospital has their own Carpark! (last time, finding parking was extremely hard!)Everything looks good cause it is still brand new.. We had the privilege to tour the new building, including the Labour room (yikes!), the Single/ Double Bedroom (not bad..looks comfy!), the Executive suites (Japanese/Malay/ English interior..pick you choice) and also, the grand Orchid room (Includes a meeting room, a chandelier, a private guest bathroom). But, we'll be sticking to the Single Bedroom for now, unless someone wants to sponsor the Executive room. I don't mind waking up in a Japanese room..hehe..
As for my check up, everything seems good. The doc did say my hemoglobin level is slightly lower than usual (nothing to worry about), and most importantly, Munckin is doing well inside. We've decided to let the doctor to confirm the gender, cause we can't take the pressure from the 3rd party about the baby's sex. So, he scanned that area, and it is 80% confirmed. But he still says that should wait till the next check up for a 95% confirmation. We shall wait & see ;)
********************************
Okay, that's most events if not all. Some cause I don't have pictures to upload, so mcm tak best nak cerita without pics. Anyways, that's all for now. Today am gonna go to Pasar Ramadhan to buy my berbuka. Have a good weekend folks!~

Mummy Bert is back..for now..

Salam & Greetings to all..

First & foremost..Salam Ramadhan! Alhamdulillah, I've been fasting from Day 1. And surprisingly, Munckin is doing okay too! I don't have those "feeling hungry-leads to headache- leads to vomit" syndrome that I had earlier. I am so blessed! Only thing is, Munckin tends to be moving a lot right before berbuka (Mummy..I am hungry..feed me!) & after berbuka, (yeay, I got energy...lets rock this tummy)..even during terawih prayers.. (Munckin pun nak ikut mummy & daddy sembahyang..). Insyallah, I am able to puasa penuh for this Ramadhan! :D

Second of all, yes, my MIA & disappearing act. Ever since the last entry, I have been on & off not well, many events occurred in between..I even jotted down the weeks..

So, I don't have the "spare" time to leisure. Except for today, I am on MC! No doubt today is Nuzul Al-Quran, Selangor are on holiday, but I work in Bangsar, so I was supposed to go to work..until my right eye gave me problem. Swollen, reddish.. must be the contact lenses. Non-stop watery eyes too. It is unfortunate that I am missing the Merdeka celebration in my school today, but I needed the "break" too. I am scheduled to see the eye doctor this afternoon, so that's why I am happily blogging at home! :D

Since I have ample of time, I shall (try to) blog about the previous (important) events that I've missed out with pictures too..So, I am back for now. Let's hope I won't go missing again :P
