updates!

Hehe..I have not been blogging! Somehow, I have been rather busy..so much for wanting to keep my blog up-to-date! =p This year is the year where I take least pics, and I blog less too~ ish..ish..


Anyways, here are the updates from meen:
1) in 1 month's time, I will be back in KL..woohoo~
2) at the moment, I have been to Adelaide's IKEA 5 times within 4 weeks! (and all I bought was a candle holder, $2..)
3) am currently house-hunting! Yes, after 3 years in my good ol' Hartley's apartment, it is time to move on.. Still haven't found the 'right' house yet.. where art thou, my new home?
4) pack pack pack -after almost 3 years here, I have so much JUNK! perrghh.. I think I will bring some stuff back to KL, ie: clothes, textbooks.. coz theres just TOO much stuff here..
5) am starting my final JP2 prac this thurs.. I have to teach my dear 5-year-olds the special letter 'R', 'K', 'L' & 'W', Australian festivals, and some Aboriginal stuff too! So I have been busy planning lesson plans lately..Hope this will be a good prac..
6) Have been watching recent movies in the cinemas- MI3, Da Vinci Code, X-Men 3, Take the lead.. now have to stop, cause no money already!
7) AF4 has started.. Top 12 has been chosen.. Obviously I dunno who can sing or what not, but kinna like Diddy..hehe.. Afundi Diddy! =)


Okie..that's all for now.. So, with prac all starting, not sure if I will update my blog anytime soon. Will see my mood then.. Adious peps..

This is my first attempt in creating a slide.. The fonts are kinna small, but at least the pics are fits nicely in the 'frame'..Maybe I'll put the bigger version on friendster or something..Anyways,here are my loved ones..enjoy! =)

1st Kdrama completed!

Yeay..I've finally finished my first ever k-drama marathon! Well, it wasn't really a marathon, coz I took my own sweet time to watch it. The most I went was 4 CDs a time, so I wasn't such a "fanatic" was I? =P Oh yes, the title was "Save the last dance for me". Overall, okie lah.. I could relate to some of the things in the drama, some things were sweet, but certain parts were kinna dumb (like at the last disc..why did she do that..aper lah!). Well, I guess bottomline of the drama is "kalau ada jodoh, tak akan ke mana". Yes, that very "over-used" phrase that we often hear from time to time, especially for single ppl like yours truly (kinna sick of it, although it is somewhat the truth!). In the drama, despite all the circumstances & obstacles, they were still "meant" for each other, somehow, someway. I love this saying, taken from the movie "Gila-gila pengatin popular" (a movie that I wouln't really recommend watching), and the saying goes "lagi banyak cabaran, lagi kuat jodohnya". Is it true? Only God knows...sigh..

Mud Cake + OC

Because I am such a great, lovable & adorable friend (hehehe), I baked Mud Cake for the girls! It was my first attempt, and it turned out okay! woohoo~ Not forgetting the 'heart' deco that I've created with smarties.. (Alrighty, better figure out the PhotoBucket thingy a.s.a.p).


Well, aside of that, I have been watching OC lately.. Since I've watched a bit of here, and there, and everywhere, I skipped Season 1 (most of it anyway) + now at par with Emma, watching Season 2 Disc 1 (yup, looong way to go). There were several quotes that I like from OC. When Julie Cooper was confronted by Hailey, she said:


"Denial is just another form of self-defense mechanism"



And on was of the scenes, Seth & Marissa were sitting on the bench overlooking the ocean, and he said:


"If you have told me that we would be the 2 loneliest people by the end of summer, I wouldn't have believed it"


But my favourite quote of all was what Summer had to say to Seth at the carpark by the funfair. Somehow, I can TOTALLY relate to it.. It goes like this:

New Skin!

Yes, after a year with the old blog skin, I figured it was time for a new one.. Something mysterious, yet still elegant..=) And thanx to my beloved friend, Shades, she helped me to change the font colour so that it is easier to read this blog (Thanx Shades, you're the best!! muaxx!!). The new look: Maroon is the new Black! hehe..

DVD Marathon..

Okie, I had the entire afternoon free, wanting to upload the pictures of my recent trip home.. but NO, there's something wrong with Hello Picasa, so I couldn't upload ANYTHING! hmmphh.. So too bad ppl, no pics for my blog at the moment till I figure out wassup with Hello Picasa..

Lately, I've been spending LOTSA time watching DVDs. My most recent viewing was Desperate Housewives Season 1. I had a marathon these past few nights, watching 1 Cd (4 episodes) a night (or sometimes 2 CDs a night!), and I've finally finished it! woohoo~ When it was showing on TV last year, I remember watching the first few episodes, and the last few episodes, but not the middle bit! I just LOVE the drama.. and of course those funny sarcasms they say to each other.. haha.. Can't wait for Season2 Box Set!

After DH, I'm planning to watch OC season 1 & 2.. then when I'm finished with that, I'm gonna start with those Korean dramas that people has been "obsessed" about! haha.. Lets see if I'll get hook on it too.. hmm..

Greetings to all my loyal blog readers..hehe..

Yes, it has been almost 2 months since I last update my blog.. Truly sorry bout that.. I had some personal matters to deal with.. plus, I was back home in KL for almost 7 weeks, so I HAVE been really really busy (for real this time, kay!) ...and now, am back in the cold cold Adelaide..brr..

Since now I have my very own internet connection in my very own room (yeay!), and I have heaps of FREE TIME to spare (once a week class..aint it great?), so I shall update my blog as frequent as I can.. Insyallah, my blog will be cun & happening like the good ol' times! (wishful thinking!).. I thank you for your patience.. Arigato gozaimasu..
