I've dissapeared for quite some time, huh? hehe.. well, I was busy preparing for my block prac, which started last monday. 3 days down, 7 more to go! Oh boy.. Can't wait to go home!

Today was quite an interesting day. I had an early shift for prac.. 8am.. in the cold! brr.. Yesterday I did an early shift as well, but I was 10 minutes late (blame it on the weather man.. freaking raining all the time!). And because of that, my mentor told me to do an early shift again because in 10 minutes, lots of things can happen. So today, I was there 5 minutes earlier.. and seriously, NOTHING MUCH HAPPEND! I was just arranging books, looking around till the first child arrive! Sighh.. whatever lah these people.. they made me sleep less hours, thats for sure! perghh.. On the brighter side, I'm getting really attached with my kids James & Zac.. They are just SO adorable!I wish I can take them back home! I can play with them all day long..

Last night I spoke to my mom after such a long time.We chated & all, and she told me about Anuar Zain's latest video clip,'Mungkin'. I was like.. "whatt!!!"..Mungkin is my all time favourite song, and I can't believe that there is a video for it! So today, I searched & searched.. and tadaa, I found it online! And it is a unique video = cartoon animated + comic effect, and Anuar is some sort like "samurai jack" in that video. I think he got the inspiration from "The last samurai" movie, fighting for love & all. And I LOVE it, despite it is completely different from what I expected it to be (autumn leaves & opera house, versus samurai fighting & japanese scene!).Apparently the video clip was out like few months ago, but of coz no one told me (except for my mom, who just recently saw it).so yeah, have a look at the Mungkin video .

Oh, today after my prac, I saw a rainbow! It was so beautiful...I realised every time around June in Adelaide,I am sure to find a rainbow somehow (due to the rainy weather.) and I pray & hope that I will also see another rainbow at the end of my prac next week..

Thristy Merc Live, Round 2!

Another Thristy Merc gig yet again! This time, I went with Haz. We were supposed to go to the gig at Adelaide Uni Bar's one, but the tickets were SOLDOUT. (Believe it or not, Thisrty Merc is getting really popular!) So as alternative, we bought the tickets for the gig at Flinders Uni Tavern instead.. Oh well, better than nothing right?

We arrived there fairly early, around 9pm. Immediately when we arrive, we managed to get a good position, which was right infront of the stage! (Again, like the last gig..lucky us!) The first band performed, called themselves Everest. Oklah, sounds a lil bit like Greenday & Nickleback..hmm.. Next band was Sumi, who had a lady bass guitarist..I find them better than the first band, more lively & more attitude. The drummer kinna look like Matt Damon! hehe.. During the intervals while everybody was waiting, there was this guy behind me who accidentally spilt some beer behind my back jeans! Arrghh.. I smell like beer the rest of the night! sigh..idiot drunks! *opps, mind my language peps*

Finally around 11pm, THIRSTY MERC performed! Woohoo!! Of course, they played my song, "my completeness" as their 2nd song..Recorded the entire song this time! (I learnt from my mistakes..always bring extra memory card!) This time round, Rai didnt acknowledge my t-shirt because there were a fence infront of the stage. So yeah, spoiler! Anyway, they performed great as always, playing the usual songs.. Summertime, Wasting Time, Someday, Emancipate myself...etc. The boys ROCK hard.. Woohoo~ Makes me wonder why I didn't buy their album yet..maybe I should one day! ha.. They are one of my favourite Aussie bands anyway.. I say, kena kumpul duit dahh..

Right after the show ended at around 12.15am, the band were at the merchandise counter & were having an "autograph signing session" at one corner. Haz then quickly bought a poster, and we qued up for them. When it was my turn, Rai pointed out to me "Hey look, it is a "My completeness" t-shirt!" and the rest of the band was like "Oh yeah...how cool!" hehehe.. I was SO proud! I think I am the ONLY fan with that especially-made t-shirt! I feel honoured.. and I was SO happy that I took a pic with the band! (Shades, Aliaa, Wani, Dayang, jangan marah okie!) They even signed the t-shirt & my "Summertime" single! woohoo! What a Rocking night indeed! Haz & I crashed at Noranna's crib for the night, since she stayed near the uni. Noranna, thanx for the warm & comfy sofa bed again! ;)

A whole day with Max & Emma Spore

I spent the entire afternoon & almost the whole night with Emma Spore & Max, my 2 very close neighbours at Hartleys. Max has a car, so we drove around to get Emma's carpet (it was a Nemo carpet..so cute!), to search for bean bags (too expensive..didn't buy any), grocery shopping & window shopping at Kmart! And, the entire time, Max kept on repeating Westlife's "When you're looking like that" song in the car! oh gosh.. my shoulders ache so much from lots of "body shaking"..hehe.. He bought this Simpson board game at Kmart, and we all played it right after dinner. It which was SO hillarious!! Whoever is a Simpson fan, have a go with this board game! It was So much fun!! I was Marge, Emma was Lisa & Max was Maggie. The things that we had to do.. acting out weird stuff & all.. In th end, I won! woohoo~ we are gonna definately play it again!

Khairul is married!

Oh my gosh, I can't believe it.. my good college friend Khairul, who also happens to be my lecturer's son, is married!! I was just surfing around friendster, looking at people's profile & pictures (I like to do this when I have nothing better to do..hehe). Then I came across Shaharil's (Khairul's bro) profile. At his newly updated photo, he wrote "my sis-in-law".. and I was like "huh?" So when I clicked at his other photos.. oh gosh, Khairul is married, to his long term gf, Natasha. I met her ages ago, waayy back in college.. she is so nice & petite..(she gives me free CLEO mags last time! )and now, she's officially Mrs Khairul! awww.. I'm SO happy for them! *grins* Khairul & Natasha, Congrats on your wedding, and may you live happily ever after... My next friend to be wed will be Farah AL.. Can't wait for it Farah! Wonder when will my turn be... *ponders to the sky above...* =P

I got mail...

I got mail from my dearest friend, Shades! No occasion, thats for sure! (I do the same thing for her too)..The card is SO nice! She even attached a picture of us during our Starbucks outing last year.. Boy I miss her.. She's in Mekah now, doing her umrah.. Hope she's enjoying herself there.. Wei shades, when I get my butt in KL, lets hang out like no one's businees,k! miss you heaps!!

I was supposed to sit at home & finish up my 2 assignments which is due tomorrow. But, my dearest housemate, Emma, asked me to accompany her to do some shopping for her family. So, the entire afternoon was well spent at Rundle Mall. Emma bought HEAPS of stuff..sunglasses, shoes, handbags, blouses, perfume..Boy I wish I can splash like that! As for me, I was at Myer for their Stocktake Sale, and found these adorable turqoise Babydoll shoes! It was so adorable! I have been looking for a pair of turqoise shoes for ages, ever since Emma bought me a Topshop turqoise bag as a suprise. And finally, the search is over.. I found that perfect shoes, with my size (me big feet, remember?) & got a good 50 % discount! So yeah, no more shoe shopping in the near future! hehe...

MASCA BBQ

From one BBQ to another...last week was UMNO, this week was MASCA..my stomach is about to explode! haha.. This time round, there were (obviously) more people.. located at the beautiful Torrens River. But somehow, I still prefer Rymill Park for some reason. Anyway, I was hanging out with the usual people: Amy, Mai, Syar, Haz.. Adil was just too busy running around (being mr prez & all..kesian dia). Saw some old & new faces.. I actually ate 3 big rounds of BBQ.. the sausages, the lamb, the chickens..yumm... I was SO full!! We hang around to help Adil pack up, and I met up with Prem, Aaron & Sudif.. We were actually debating the malay term for Swan .. Is it 'Angsa'? If so, what is Goose in malay? haha.. there goes our 11 years of learning BM in school! Later, the rest of us hang out at Gloria Jeans where I had my free Iced Chocolate Tim Tam.. slurrp!!
