new tops!

What a great Saturday today!
Went to Babysit Sophia + Johan in the afternoon and also started to teach Sophia mengaji.
She is so smart, I think she'll be able to read in no time.
They just made my day..=)

After babysitting, Max picked me up & I went Shopping and bought these:-

These tops will be my work 'uniform'.
All staffs are required to wear any top,
as long that is it 'green-aqua'-ish colour.
A very hard colour to find in shops, believe me!
I've searched everwhere :- Big W, K-Mart, Cotton On (the tops were too fitting for me)..
and at last, I found the tops at Target, where there's 20% discount!
Wanted to buy 2 tops only, but Max INSISTED that I buy a third.
He even paid for the 3rd top! So sweet of him...
And mind you, it was also his idea to buy 3 different 'styles'.
I wanted to buy the 3 plain ones, and he said "No way! You must look different everyday!"
After I'm done paying, he said to me
"See, it's always better to go shopping with a gay guy..we know fashion better!"
Yes you do Max! hehehe..

Before buying my tops, Max went to JB Hi-Fi to get his pre-ordered Playstation 3.
Yes peps, a brank-spanking-latest-sleek-and-superb PS3!!
He was just too excited to collect it, he didn't even eat lunch!
So after collecting it, he refused to put in the car, so he carried it around while I find my tops.
And oh boy, ppl STARED at him, like he is the fresh meat that is about to be eaten.

"Max, maybe you should stop 'parading' your PS3, and just put it in the car.."
"No way Meen! What if it gets stolen? You know how much this precious baby costs???"
"oohh..okie dokie..carry it around then.." (-_-)
He is like a little boy who just got out from the candy store. (^_^)
I called my lil bro, Emer, later that night, to tell him bout Max's new baby.
He was SCREAMING on the phone!
"MEEENNNN.... I SOO wanna kill you.. I SOOO wanna kill Max!! You better get me one too!!"
Haha..right Emer.. in your dreams! =p

Haz invited us for Tea, as she made home made vanilla muffins, and lime-lemon buttermilk cake.
She wanted us to have a trial taste so that she can bake it for her bday next week.
and both muffins + cake were just....HAZ-ILICIOUS!!!
I've been craving for cupcakes/muffins for ages now..
especially after browsing through Cuppacakes+ SoSweetPliz websites.
and Haz made it PERFECT- soft + yummy.. just as good (or infact, better) than the ones I've tasted before.

Sorry peps, it seems every year in the month of March, God is really testing me with life's obstacles.
That explains why I haven't been around.. very emotionally unstable.
Am getting better, no doubt, but when it strikes, it cuts deep.
Am getting there..Insyallah..
Just have to 'surrender', berdoa
and be strong with God's fate, as He knows best..Amin..

I have a much routinized daily schedule now.
Gym, work, gym, work.. 5 days a week.
Physically tiring by the end of the day.
Work is good, am still learning more bout the staff ,the children + the centre.
Am now working 37.5 hours a week, instead of the miserable 20.
Next week, my shift will be from 10.30am-6.30pm.
The following week, 6.30am (gasp!)- 2.30pm.
Oh well, it's for the money..
First pay next week..yeay!

Oh yes, I met a nice family last week.
Kak Nana, her hubby Pete, and their 2 wonderful children, Sophia,5 + Johan,2 1/2.
I slept over with Rye, as I might babysit them + teach them mengaji soon Insyallah..
Sophia, such a brilliant little girl.
Johan, he is just adorable..
He gave me a hug when I first step into the house.
Love how he said "Firesam" when it's supposed to be "Fireman Sam", and "Pin Epebet" when it was "Pink Elephant".. hehe..
And his favourite word? "Uh-huh"..with attitude I tell you!
They bought new guinea pigs as well, and Johan excitedly called them "Piggiess"..
Sophia named them Harry + Jonathan.
They really brighten my last weekend. Can't wait to see them again.. =)

I was about to take the bus, when I saw a body being covered, and there were blood and "pieces of brains" around the body on the street.
I was like "OMG, what happend??".
Some ppl gathered around, all whispering + talking.
"He got ran over? He fell from the building? "
The police came soon after I left.
I couldn't wait to find out coz I had to go to work.
Wonder what really happend? It's so freaky..
Dang.. such things happend in Adelaide! ishish..

Newsflash: I got a permenant job!
Syukur alhamdulillah..
Well, it is a part time permenant job.
Am working at this childcare centre in the babies room.
And my shift? 2.30-6.30. everyday.
Pretty neat huh? =D
But, I hope the director will increase my working hours in time.
As they say, more hours, more money..
I start next tues.. Yeay!!

Last weekend was good for my soul. (^0^)


Oh yes, a story I must tell..


While we were shisha-king, telling stories + playing Uno cards at the balcony, we heard footsteps coming up the stairs. I looked at Khairul, feeling freaked out. Like gosh, we were all here, who the hell is coming up the stairs at 2am!


And then, I saw his face..


It was the SECURITY OFFICER!


"Finally! I've found where the noises come from! I've been looking everywhere, high + low. Hey guys, can you keep it low? I received a complaint from one of your neighbours. Just enjoy the night quietly right? It is getting pretty late. Goodnight everybody."


"Yes sir.. sorry bout the noise!"

We were THAT LOUD!


You know, I have experienced this similiar incident during one of my Melb trips long ago.


I was at Shades' crib, with Shades, Wani, Renald, Anuar...don't remember who else were there.
We were playing 'Heart Attack' as I recalled.
Of course, Wani screamed the loudest..getting panic attacks easily.
Then suddenly, we heard a knock at the front door..at 1am in the morn!
Obviously we were FREAKED!
Anuar then bravely opened the door, and guess who was it?


A POLICE OFFICER!


"Excuse me, is everything alright in here? Someone passed by the house, and heard someone screaming. The person was concern. So, I am here to just have a check."


"Oh sir, sorry. We were just chilling. Playing cards."


"Oh alright. So, everything is fine I see. In that case, just keep it low ok. We wouldn't want any unsuspicious things happening around this neighbourhood. Have a good night then".


Right!
A police officer? A security guard? Complaining bout us??
Hmmm...
Is either I have a bunch of NOISY friends..
