meen the mover + builder..

It has been almost 2 weeks since I've arrived in Adelaide..
and now, I can be officially known as "Meen the Mover" + "Meen the Fix-It Builder".
I've helped Max + Haz to move their things into their new home..
and, we bought things from IKEA+ Go-Lo, and I helped them fix their new furnitures.
So yeah, hence the name..
"Meen the builder, can we fix it? Yes we can!!"

Last Saturday, I've spent almost the entire day watching Desperate Housewives Season 2.
And yes, managed to khatam it at 3am! woohoo~
Yes, am a bit ketinggalan zaman, their showing season 3 on TV now.
Yadda yadda yadda..
Season 2 has its funny + sad moments.
I was touched at the part when the police took the baby from Gabrielle.
That was so sad...I was moved..
Anyway, now I better try to keep track on Season 3 as much as I can,
so that I won't waste 1 day of my life watching the entire season later on! hah!

You know, the other day, I was chatting with Adil..
and, when seeking advice from him,
I realized that he was using the same "wise-words-of-advice" that I gave him long ago.
Then, it started to "click".
The fact that he gave the same advice, my "wise words"..
makes me realized that, when dealing with situations in life, sometimes you can't see it for yourself..
But the other people, they can see it if not clearer, better.
My own words of advice! haha..
Still can't get over it!
How could I be SO blur...ish ish..

Howdy peps..
Am back in the hot summer Adelaide..
40 degrees this weekend!!
Better stay in-doors then.
But am gonna help Max to move into his new home!
Oh well, hope there's an air-cond nearby..
During my flight back, I sat at the last seat in the plane.
Seat 41H.
The very very very last seat in the plane.
It was really waaayyy back, that during dinner time, I had no other options to eat except for Fish Noodles..
I actually wanted Chicken Rendang.. (6_6)
Even the man next to me didn't want to eat the Fish Noodles, he ate the bun, salad + ice cream instead.
Poor fella.
So far, I have only eaten Miza's pasta since I arrived.
And not forgetting the yummy Boost Juice for summer thrist! =D
Need to start cooking soon..

bollywood wedding..

Namaste everybody!
Am back from Kolkata!
The wedding was great, colourful & it was nicely integrated between the Indian & Scottish cultures.
It was a real Bollywood-style wedding, with all the dancing like the ones in the movies.
There were even fireworks at night!
A truly wonderful experience..
minus the heavy & shocking traffic all over the place..
They honk all the time, the cars are just milimeters away from each other, people simply cross the roads whenever they like, the roads are so narrow..
I literally have to close my eyes half the time in the bus/car/taxi!
(it's scarier than a roller coaster ride..yikes!)
Thank God we arrived at our destinations safe & sound..fyuhh..


Shades, you complained about KL's traffic right? Bahh, it's nothing babe!!
Come to India, then you know the TRUE meaning of traffic! hahaha..

Today, I had dinner with the 'Martins'.
My family did fine..I think I was a lil bit more quiet than usual.
Even Emer stole the spotlight at one point during dinner!
I guess I was still shy & nervous infront of them.
Perhaps because he was not there.
But at least he called while we were eating. =)
The mom was nice as always.
The dad was such a gentleman and a funny fella..
Betul2 like father & son.. the way they talk.. the way they look..
Memang Daddy's boy la.. =p
Well, I now have a new family..
The family that will be a big part of my life Insyallah..

Sa-was-dee-kaa..
I thought I wouldn't find any wireless connection..but I did!
that is why I am able to update.. *yeay*
My parents + I left for Bangkok today.
It was my first time taking Thai Air.
We had a 6 hours transit before flying off to Kolkata, a.k.a Calcutta.
The new airport wasn't impressive at all.Still lots of unfinished work around the buildings. Had to take a shuttle bus before entering the airport building (like the old times..)
Anyways, during our transit, we went window shopping around the new airport.
and of course, wouldn't miss the best thing to do in Bangkok..
FOOT MASSAGE!
(also paid a lil bit extra for a back massage)
It was my first time doing a foot massage,
and it was gooooood.. (^_^)
Finally, after almost 12 hours of travelling + transit, we reached our destination :-Calcutta.
Such a loooong + tiring day..
