We attended Miki's 5th Birthday party @ KFC last nite.
Dzhofier & I decided to wear 'Superman' shirts, but Mr Bert choose to wear his famous checked shirt (need to get him a Superman tshirt..one day)
Dzhofier enjoyed himself at the party.. making friends & playing with the boys.
Mr Bert overheard the conversation between the boys
"Okay..jom main kejar polis. Dzhofier, awak jadi perompak"
"What is a perompak? Is it English?"
"Perompak...is robbers..thieves.."
"ohh..okay.."
Haha..omputeh tul my nephew!

While the boys were playing at the playground, I was inside sitting with other adults.
But Mr Bert & I were separated at this sides of the restaurant.
Then..there was one moment.. somehow our eyes met from across the room.
We saw each other, and we both smiled.
Then suddenly, everything else stopped.
Ahh...the moment.. *grins*blush*
Feels like one of those romantic teenage movies...wakakahh..
Btw, Mr Bert has a new look now.
I like his new 'unshaved' looked as I've always like men with a "bad boy" look.
Mr Bert sure looked husky..tee hee..
Oh gosh.. 7 months more till the big day.. *tick tock*

Today I'm meeting with Shades for Mohdy's belacan play.
Am sure the play will be hillarious.. Happy Sunday folks!

Today, I've decided to do a little splurge on myself.
It has been ages since I bought a proper make up set.
I can't afford MAC, Estee Lauder, Clinique, etc for daily use.
So..I go for Loreal. (because I'm worth it.. :P)

Oh, before that, here are my "pathetic" looking daily make up kit.
Bad..isn't it?
Just look at my lipstick casing.. those black marks.
Didn't quite like the microscopic mascara..too halus for my lashes.
And, I didn't have a proper eye shadow, so I used this dark brown pencil, which kinna hurts my eye (and so the pendek now).
My black eyeliner is gonna finish soon.
So pathetic, kan?

That is why..I went for a mini spree just now.. (^_^)
Everything is from Loreal.
I bought a "pink rose" lipstick, a proper brown eye shadow pallete, 8hr lip gloss, brown eye pencil, & waterproof full volumn mascara.
I am elated! Tapi now agak pokai..
Never mind..it is always a good investment.

I've decided that my daily use make up will be Loreal.
Then, for more 'formal' make up, it will be MAC (which I'm getting for my hantaran! Yeay!)

Tmrw is my PTM day.. Teacher Helena is gonna look a little bit pretty tmrw.. tee hee hee..

To be honest.. my reasons of blogging is more like a hobby, to fill out spare times, to let out any exciting or not-so-exciting news.
I have been blogging for what.. almost 5 years now.
My intention was never to 'show off', or to create any misunderstandings between anybody.

Well..apparently it did. Sigh...So hence, I have to change.

Baby Alisya..

Welcome Baby Alisya Maisarah Bt Ahmad Kamil!

Born 22nd May 2009, 1.30am at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

She's a healthy 2.5kg baby.

Congrats to Imah & Kamil..

Actually, her name is not official yet..

But chances are, that'll be her name.

She looks more like her mommy.. and a little bit like the sis..

Hence at current, Mr Bert's nieces are Athirah, Atiqah, Alya..and Alisya.

"Dia, all your nieces starts with 'A'.. nanti anak kita pun kena 'A' gak ke?"

He just smiled..hehe..

cravings..

Last night, while reading my teacher's PTM report, I had a sudden crave for Nasi Lemak Kukus.
During telematch day the other day, one my teachers bought the nasi lemak for lunch.
And I tell you..it was sedap sampai menjilat jari...
And I wanted to eat it..at 2am in the morning.
This morning while getting dressed, I msged my teacher to buy me the nasi lemak.
And during lunch tadi....yummm...puasnye..!

I don't usually get cravings.
If you ask my family or friends, I am the hardest & fussiest person to order food, cause I always don't know what I what to eat.
But, if I crave for something..I want that food right here, right now...

So far, I have craved for:-
Old Town's Beef+Bull's Eye set dinner, Delicious' Beef Mama Spegathini, Jake's Potato Skin & Spare Ribs, Murni's Roti Hawaii, Chili's Lamb shoulder..
Okay, my stomach's rumbling. I better stop talking bout food.

Can't imagine when I'm pregnant one day Insyalllah.
Will I get cravings like this (or even worst?)
This will be fun.. Mr Bert kena belanje.. hehe...

Oh yes, Mr Bert's sis-in-law just gave birth to a healthy baby girl yesterday.
So now, there's 4 nieces in his family,and I only have 1 nephew in my family.
Will see the baby tmrw..Alya has a adik now..(^_^)

Run Fahrin Run!

I have to admit.. it has been AGES since I last visited the gym.
Of course, I have endless of excuses..
The last I recall, I promised myself I'll go back to my gym routine after my US trip.
Well, it has been 20 days!
So finally.. today, no excuse.. I went to my good ol' gym.

I took my time, changed into my gym attire.
Looked at the aerobic class.. Body Combat.. nah, I'll skip. It started 10 mins already.
So, headed downstairs. I hop onto this treadmill thingy (it has a hand thingy too.. I dunno what's it called!).
Set time for 30 mins, and off I go.

I looked at the series of big screen TVs infront of me.
Simpsons. Sports. ah-ha.. Amazing Race Asia 2. Perfect.
It was the episode where they had to fly to Germany.
So here I am..huffing & puffing.. reading the subtitles (obviously can't hear anything from the TV screen, except for the upbeat-like music from the gym's stereo), trying to concentrate at what's happening on TV.
My workout was good..I was 5 mins into my running, and I am all for it! Go meen Go!

After looking at the screen, I find myself looking at something familiar. Well, it looks familiar, but its not..
The face angle..the ears..
Then I realized...I saw Mr Bert's celebrity twin.
He was on the treadmill...RIGHT infront of me..

And the world couln't get any smaller..haha
I was so DISTRACTED!! in a good way of coz! :p
He was wearing black shorts (yes.. I could see his muscular legs!)
And..he was wearing a black singlet.
And of course..I saw the noticeble ARMS...

Oh no no meen..concentrate! concentrate! run.. run...
He was running too..
He runs super fast..then he jogs..then he runs again..and he jogs.
I noticed he was more focused on his running rather than the tv.
Wherelse I was focusing on him rather than the tv...hehe..
But I was trying my hardest not to be obvious.

So I "acted" as though I was serious in my run too.
I ran faster..not as fast as him.
I looked busy.. good.
I started to sweat.. very good.
But time to time..I looked infront. Kononnye nak tengok TV.. then I looked at him.
Those buffy arms!!
Oh no..concentrate meen! run meen run!

I was playing the "run, look, run, look " game for about 20 mins.
I had 5 mins to go, I was prepared for my cool down.

Then, suddenly, he stopped, turned around (facing me) and sat on the threadmill.
Woooaahhhh..........He has a good view of me! (and vice versa of coz!)
So, I had to run elegantly (berlari dgn penuh keayuan konon!)
Dah lah I am all sweaty..in my gym clothes!
But..obviously he didn't look at me. He was drinking his water. Taking a break from his run.
I saw his treadmill. He ran about 36 mins.

The next thing I know..my time was done.
And, he left too..taking his towel & drinking bottle.
We went opposite ways.. He headed straight to those weight machines.
And I am left..speechless..hehehe

This is actually my 2nd/ 3rd encounter with him at the gym.
But this was the CLOSEST range ever!
I wish I have the guts to just say hi to him.
(One thing about me & celebs, I am so the MALU to jumpa them..)
Or, tell him how much he looks like Mr Bert.

Tapi..actually, they don't really look alike.
I mean, they do, they have certain features (especially from side view)
But, from the front..lain sgt.
I can't wait to take a pic of BOTH of them together.. one sweet day!
I can tell, he is a nice & friendly person to talk to. ;)
Oh gosh..I can't believe I am having a celebrity crush with somehow who looks like Mr Bert.
Takpelah..at least muka sama..*winks*

So,that was my gym story for the day.
Not bad for a comeback, right?
Okay meen..the MORE reasons to go to gym...tee hee hee..

where oh where?

Oh no.. venue is still a prob..
I am not sure where will the nikah ceremony will be held. Home or Dewan.
Initially both my mom & I did agree about the hall for logistic reasons.
But after meeting up with the deco planner, he suggested to do a home.
That was my first option actually.. I've always like a home based ceremony.
So now.. in a dilemma.. so how? 6_6

Another prob would also be..our honeymoon destination.
Everytime I ask Mr Bert, he refused to answer..
"Nantilah.." is all I hear, and he will usually change topic almost immediately.
My mom said maybe is financial reasons, he doesn't want me to put high hopes.
I did tell him that wanted to go overseas.. maybe thats too much to ask.
So few nights back, I did survey locations within the country.
Langkawi, Avillion, Sabah were the options. Boleh lah..

I remembered a few years ago, I met this couple.
They were together for 11 years, and finally tied the knot.
"We were both thinking of the next step, so marriage is the final step, right?"
And so they got married, and I attended my first ever church wedding & chinese reception.
I did asked her about her honeymoon, and she kindly replied..
"We (she & hubs) both discussed & agreed that instead of going for our honeymoon, we will use the money to start our home. We can always have other honeymoons in the future, but starting a home is more important and practical for now."
It does make sense.. why waste when you can save for more important stuff, right?

Maybe Mr Bert thinks the same.. only that he doesn't want to tell me.
Perhaps he knows how much I love to travel. He does too, but maybe theres restriction.
Takpelah.... maybe ader rezeki in the future, who knows?
If not..am thankful that he's with me.. honeymoon or no honeymoon.
Let's wait & see...

What's for lunch?

Today, I had a sneak preview of married life..
Mr Bert & I were in the kitchen, watching some tv show (yeap, we have a tv in the kitchen),
it was almost lunch time, and I casually asked;

"Dia, we'll eat sandwich for lunch, boleh?"
"Sandwich? I tak nak makan roti..."
"Ohh..then, what you wanna eat?"
"Hmm... something protien.. eggs boleh?"
"Eggs?"
"Yeap.. with vegs..tomatoes..."
"Oh okay.. I'll make scrambled eggs, boleh?"
"That sounds good.. looks like we're having 'breakfast' for lunch"
"Tu lah.. hehe.. you're sure you'll be okay with scrambled eggs only?"
"Boleh lah.. I'm okay.."

So, while I was preparing the scrambled eggs (adding in mushrooms & tuna too), Mr Bert actually helped out!

"Dia..it's okay, you can sit & watch TV"
"No.. I want to help out " (I thought it was so cute that he insisted to help)
"Hmm..okay..you can kacau this.."

He beat the eggs.. and cut some salad (yes, we added lettuce as side dish).
The scrambled eggs ended up a little bit watery.. but tasted okay..
Well, at least the whole bowl was finished!
After lunch, he helped out with the dishes. Ain't he sweet.. (^_^)

It was a nice experience..
If only I could cook more lavish dishes for him.
Need to practice cooking more often now!

OhMyGosh!

I say.. I think I took my holiday a wee bit too early.
The minute I stepped into my office last Monday, fyuuhh.. A LOT has happend.
The things that happend in the school.. the pending things that needs to be done for Sports day..
Plus, I had my HOS meeting in the afternoon, which dragged until 6pm.
Oh my gosh.. I am SO Stressed!!
Super stress..until at night, I couldn't really sleep.
My mind kept thinking of the things that needs to be done.. and I honestly don't know where to start.. Hati pun tak tenteram..
Yesterday I stayed back in the office until 7pm to catch up with my work.
Sighh.. I need another holiday!!

Okay, on a brighter note.. it was my mom's bday yesterday.
I felt bad, didn't get something "nice" enough for her.
Last night, I've decided to treat both my parents for their birthdays (a belated one for my dad).
We had Paddington Pancakes in midvalley... they both loved it.
Mr Bert couldn't join us last night, but he sent a pretty sweet msg to my mom. I was touched.. (^_^)
Seeing my mom ber-sms-ing with Mr Bert was pretty cute.
He has definately blossomed.. I like!

Geez.. tmrw back to work..
I still need to resolve certain "drama" among the teachers. hmpphh..
Okay..holiday can wait. I need a facial soon.. Quick!

I just got back from the States.
Mr Bert picked me up..and sent me back home.

It's so good to see him again! (^_^)

And don't worry peps, I am not affected by the swine flue.

I am so relief and happy that both my fiance & my mom loved the things I bought.Fyuhh...

So now, just need to keep it safe..for 8 months time.

8 months to go? woaahh...

I am getting sleepy now..jetlag has started to kick in.

Better go to bed.. Off to Neverland.
