kursus kahwin..checked!

Yeay.. Kursus Kahwin is over! Boleh kahwin dah! hehe..
The cert cover looks pretty cool right? Pink for the ladies, brown for the men.
And we got a free file-bag too, with some books & phamplets inside.

On Saturday morning, I was at Masjid Shah Alam as early as 7.30am.
I was the first lady to register.. the course only started at 8.30am.
First session was the BEST! Ustadz Suhaimi was really funny & hilarious!
He spoke about the procedures & forms that needs to be filled, and of course some uncensored topics about marriage life. hehe..A great start the course.

Next topic was about Health.. The Dr showed several videos which makes the topic much more interesting. Reminded me of college times, especially psychology subjects.
He also showed some "censored" pics of ppl.. diseases..etc
But.. the MOST shocking part was when he showed the actual video of GIVING BIRTH! BOTH NATURAL & CESAREAN!!!
OOHTHEHORROR!! A great way to "encourage" woman to give birth! :p
I refused to look at the projected screen. I think the ladies at my row turned their heads away from the screen too. We literally squirmed at our seats.
I was looking at Mr Bert.. he was paying attention at the screen. Good, at least he knows the sacrifices & the pain that we WOMEN have to go thru when giving birth. Bagus.. bagus..

The other 2 topics were about Aqidah & about Stress Management.
Both the ustadz shared mostly about their experiences about ppl getting married, also some tips too.

On Sunday, the topics were about Akhlak, Ibadah, Financial Management & zakat.
The topics were relatively general.. again the ustadz shared their stories.

The one I find interesting was the topic about the Syariah Law issues.
Of course, mintak jauh for anything to happened, but it's good to know. The ustadzah really explained the terms & conditions thoroughly.
And guess who was the "best student" of the day? It was my very own Mr Bert!
He asked 4 questions to the ustadzah during the session. Mentang2 la belajar law dulu.. hehe..

The food was good. We were well fed there. The hall was spacious.. we sat comfortably at our seats.
Overall it's good, but some topics can be revised.
I feel some of the topics can be much more interesting with activities/ group discussion/ just having a great speaker. Well, there's time to improve.

My advice? If possible, go to the kursus kahwin with your partner.. it's much more fun when you can share and discussed the topics after the session. If you can go 'double dating' pun best, at least you have a friend with you, same goes to your partner.

So now, kursus kahwin checked. But a whole lot of paper work still pending!
One down, many more to go...
