Sydney Trip: Day 1-3

Day 1- 24th September 2005

Finally, the day has arrived...Emma + I are going to Sydney! woohoo~ Adil was nice enough to accompany us to the airport. We needed help to carry Emma's luggage anyway, as she brought her textbooks to Sydney (she needed the books for her assignment, which she hasn't completed yet..). Anyway, the flight to Sydney was pretty smooth, and we managed to see beautiful clouds in the sky (Care Bear's home..). Once we arrived Sydney, we took the double decker train to the International Airport to meet up with Emma's aunty, Aunty Na. While waiting, we had the d-evil-licious Krispy Kreme Dougnuts! We only just got to Sydney, and we're already eating crap! (think calories! calories!) Once Aunty Na arrived, Uncle Salleh picked us up & Kak Gina cooked us lovely home cooked dinner. The house was really well decorated, and we got to choose our rooms! So I choosed the room with the double bed! It's all about being comfy man! ;)

Day 2- 25th September 2005

Today was more of a relax day of us. Aunty Na was still having jetlags from her previous trip to New York, and Emma wanted to do her assignment. So, I hang out with Kak Gina & her 3 year old son, Firdaus instead. We sent Uncle Salleh to the airport, then to a PC fair at Uni of NSW, then later to a Shopping Mall near their house, East Gardens Westfield. In the afternoon, I babysitted Firdaus by playing playdough with him. He loved making "snakes", and pretends the "snakes" to be "Papa snake", "Mama snake" & "Baby snake". He's so cute! After dinner, Kak Gina recommended this Korean War Movie, "Taek Guk Gi", which is about war + brotherhood. Pretty good movie, with a sad ending...and yes, good looking actors! ;)

Day 3- 26th September 2005

Since Emma still needed to do her assignment, Aunty Na + I decided to proceed our plans to go around the city. We met Max in the city, and he brought us around along QVB & Pitt St. At JB Hi-Fi, I was pretty upset cause I didn't get the DVD that I wanted. So to cheer me up, we went to the chocolate haven place, Max Brenner.. I ordered my favourite Suckao + Souffle, and yes, I was in a much better mood (slightly sugar high..). We also went to Boarders, bought some books from there. I was supposed to meet up with Mai, Lydia + Mas at Opera House after that, so since Max is from Sydney, I trusted him to bring me there. Instead, we got lost at Darling Harbour, which is no where near the Opera House! We took a cab instead + met up with girls.. That goes my exercise for the day, walking around Pitt St + Darling Harbour! Fyuhh.. Took heaps pics with the girls + Max...I took the bus home, and this time, we watched a Thai movie called "The legend of Suryrothai". The movie is based from a true story, but it's a pretty violent movie..I had to cover my face with the cushion most of the time! perghh..
