Alhamdulillah, this year I managed to celebrate Hari Raya Haji in KL. The year before, I was in Cairo with my parents (how time flies!) Like always, we all prayed at the beautiful mosque in Hartamas (Masjid Kuala Lumpur). When we got back, we ate Mama's homecook Nasi Beryani & Ayam masak merah. Kak Ina's parents (or my parents' besan) came over & we have a lil family brunch together. For this year's Raya, I decided to wear my white Jubah (which I hardly wore) with my white tudung. Man teased me "Dah nak kahwin dah ke?" ishh... sabar ajelah..For lunch, everybody went to Tuk's house, and we had Tuk's homecook Lontong there! Sarah & Cici were adorable as always, and they excitedly played with Dzhofier..can't wait for Aunty Mah to give birth to their Adik, which is due in May! (Sadly I won't be around! sobb~)

I had a good rest in the afternoon, and of course babysitting Dzhofier as always. For dinner, we had Aunty Chor's Laksa Johor. Since Abg Ikmal wasn't feeling too well, we went & visit him at home. Dzhofier was SO excited to see the Chiko, the hairy cat, and he was happily playing with Ikhwan's collection of toy cars.
nyau..nyau..

Man's cartoon version of Abg Ikmal's family..
A funny story happend as we were leaving. Abg Ikmal decided to give Dzhofier one of Ikhwan's 'baby car' since Ikhwan has outgrown it. We could see by Dzhofier's face, he was happy & kept on saying "car..car". As my dad was putting the 'baby car' into the boot, Dzhofier started to scream & he bursted into tears "Nak car!! nak car!!" All of us were trying to calm him down, and ensured him that he will get the car once we reach home. But, it didn't work, and he kept on crying & crying (as though he was being abused, which he wasn't!) Out of pity, and to calm him down, my dad pulled over at the side of the road, opened the boot & placed the 'baby car' on top of Kak Ina's lap with Dzhofier sat on it. He immediately was quiet, and started to smile again! But he still had shivers due to the crying earlier on! ishh ishh.. drama! drama! drama! al-kisah sungguh anak buahku! =)
