Yumi's Life Stories: College mates outing!

The entire day today, I spent time with my good ol' college mates. Most of us went away to Austalia or New Zeland for studies, so I've arranged this little gathering to catch up with everyone (well, almost everyone.. sadly a lot didn't make it today). Well at least I get to meet up some of them!

In the afternoon, I took the Putra LRT to KLCC, as Ruth, Pravin & Cteven were already there to go to Petrosains (Shahril works there at the moment). I was a lil late, arriving at KLCC at 2.45pm. Since the Petrosains closes by 5pm, Shahril practically had to make a really quick & brief tour of Petrosains (or else, it would take at least 2 hours to really explore the place).. So basically, we just did the things that caught our attention(like the freeze-shadow thingy, the slide, the helicopter ride..etc), and the rest were just a quick glance of it. It was so much FUN, if only we had more time to spare.. Being there for the first time, I wished that this Petrosains existed when we were younger. It would have make me LOVE science even more! Kids these days are so lucky..sighh..But oh well, Shahril promised me another "free" round of Petrosains..just gotta make time for it!

By 5pm, we left KLCC and was stuck in the rush hour jam. Pravin sent me off to Shades' crib and I was there till 8pm & Zuhri picked me up. Zuhri shocked us by wearing Baju Melayu for tonight's dinner! (Mentang2 the next day is Hari Raya Haji! ishh ishh) hehe.. So, we headed straight to Bangsar Village, and met up with Tanto, Nadia, Ruth, Pravin & Chrissa. Upon my request, we ate at Laksa Shack (yeay!) and I had Nasi Kerabu for dinner (since I know I won't be going to Kelantan any time soon!)As the restaurant was about to close, Ruth, Pravin & Chrissa left, while Munis & Cindy joined us instead. Wanted to chat & lepak more, we walked to across the street to a Mamak stall. On the way there, we saw this whisky shop called "Single & Available! Pretty cool name shop, I must say! We took lots of photos with the sign (Especially those who are really really single & available..~) After our mamak-lepaking session, everyone headed home and as always, Zuhri was kind enough to send me back! (Caayaang Toli!) At first Zuhri wanted to go to the gents, but he ended up lepaking at my crib till 1am! He had a look at my "overload memory capacity" laptop, and suggest that I should burn my stuffs into CDs to give more memory space to the laptop.(Now that's something I need to do..real soon!) While he was checking my laptop, we were chatting with hema (via webcam) & again, he was well fed by yours truly! =)
