Some ppl has made statements like..
"With your easy pregnancy & delivery, you should have like 10 children.."
" If all your children behave as well as Mateen, then you should have more children.."
Okay, I admit, I am blessed for the pregnancy, delivery and for my first born, but it might not be the same the second time round. I mean, of course I pray (very hard) that it will be, but God decides right?
One thing for sure, what I really really want for the 2nd child is for him/her to be exclusively breast fed. I am (still)very sad that I am not able to do so for Mateen, and now he has weaned off completely. I read blogs of mothers who is able to be a working mom & yet breast feed their child.. I am so envious of them. I mean, yeah.. rezeki masing2.. but I really hope I am able to do so for the 2nd one Insyallah. Mr Bert & I has agreed to have the 2nd one once Mateen is in school, so there's still 3 years in planning..
The most essential thing is, I need to have the right breast pump (I am eyeing for the double pump..), the right supplements, and of course, the right support & mind set as well.
"Ya Allah, please (when the time is right), let my second pregnancy be smooth, let my delivery be easy, let my child be good and give him/her the benefit of having breast milk exclusively for 2 years.."
Hah..that's a lot to ask.. no harm to berdoa right? But for now, Mateen, you are the light of my life.. :)
ps: I am thinking "Pumpkin" is a good nickname for the 2nd one, yah? tee hee..
