new job..

I had a GOOD LONG SLEEP last night. Needed it.
It has been a rather hectic week for me.
Job interviews, Mai's birthday suprise, Syar's malam berinai & nikah day, Adil moving house (for the 3rd time of the year), sending Adil to the airport, Christmas sale, gym, etc..
Basically, I haven't gotten a proper sleep for the past week.
Waking up today, knowing that I will be at home.. is a HUGE relief!
Took my own sweet time, eat breakfast, watch Videohits, did my laundry, lipat baju, mandi, kemas bilik..
and now, I CAN BLOG! hehe..


Oh yes, I got a job. It's a casual work at childcare centres.
Basically, I am on call. If a centre needs a casual worker for the day, they will call up my agent, and the agent will tell me to go to that centre to work.
Good pay, same like the relief teacher job.
But, the hassle of finding the place + to get familiarize with the centre's staff, routine & all is a different story.
Had my first "work" day yesterday. I had to go to the nursery room.
And I think I kinna screwed up! *dangg*
There was 1 point of time, I was left with 5 babies, all by myself!
One baby cries, then the other one across the room cries.
Yes, I was kinna in dead meat..0_o
Plus, I've never worked in a nursery room before. Toddlers yes, kindi yes..not nursery.
Oh well, is a good experience anyway.

Needed the job anyway..or else I will be selling grapes like no one's business.
Plus, I need money to buy myself the new Intimacy perfume at Myers.

Oh well, the job that pays the rent! (and my perfume! =D)


And yes, now Syar is a Puan! Syar + Geoff are officially husband & wife, Mr + Mrs Gill!

The nikah was different from the normal Malay nikah.
This one,the imam told Syar + Geoff to salam each other, and he puts a cloth over the hands, and he recite some doa, and he told Syar + Geoff to repeat after him..in arabic!
Gila susah..
Pity Geoff, he couldnt pronoucne some of the arabic words!
(pretty funny actually..hehe..)
And after that, the imam recite another doa, he told them
"Now you both are Halal together".
So yeah, that was the nikah cara Aussie (I think!)
Tomorrow is their beach wedding..theme is blue & white.
Have to wake up early to take the train to Aldinga beach.
But can't wait.. sun, sea, beach + bbq..here I come!
