There were so many outings/ events that I had in December, so I'll post the things that I remember kay..

Yes, finally I get to meet Aina's precious son, Aiman Daud.. He was rather attached to me, his 'Mummy Meen' as Aina put it. He has the grey-est eyes, so 'anak-orang-putih' but at the same time so 'anak melayu'. He's a gem! Geramm..

I had one of those gatherings at my place, where I cooked dinner & my friends come over to eat. Unfortunately not many could make it that day, but hey.. I did my part of organizing a gathering.. ;) Dzhofier was the center of attraction, as always..

Adil did a gathering at his place too. Since I was the first one to arrive, I got a personal tour of his gorgeous house. I baked my 2nd attempt choc cheesecake ( there's improvement for sure!) just for desserts contribution. Not many came, just Adil's school mates, Rai (Adelaide friend) and her sister. Adil had delicious Kelantanese food being served, so it was all good..

It was the GIRLS's idea to have a sleepover at my place. They wanted to spend as much time with me while I'm back in Malaysia, so they plan everything, and I just follow! Hah.. So, we did make-up, dress-up, played M2M on the radio (the only 'girly' CD that I have)..we even pretend play with the Teddy Bears. Well, what can I say.. Girls just wanna have fun, don't they? =)

As promised, my good ol' school friend, Yit & I agreed to have brunch to catch up on things. She suggested this really classy-yet-fusion-style place,Bakerzia at OU. Yit was telling me all about her job, and I was telling her about my kindergarten prac memories. It reminded me like the good ol' times, where we would chat all day long at the school canteen, or in the PBSM room. We haven't changed much, huh Yit? (Except that you are earning SO MUCH now, while I'm not! hehe)..

My dearest Papa is back in KL for hols! It has been a year plus since I met him, so it was good to see him again. After meeting up at Uncle Salim's place, we took Pa to the new-layout StarHill and had dinner at our all time favourite western restaurant, Jakes. I had my favourite 'Spare Ribs' and 'Potato Skin'. yumm..Dzhofier was really excited to see Papa, keep on saying 'Tuk Papa.. Tuk Papa..." He misses his grandpa..aww.. Great food, great company..;)

Adil invited me to this PAKATAN dinner held at the new Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (next to KLCC). It was a last minute invitation, but I went anyway. The event was mainly to reward Kelantanese people who have contributed their talent/ effort in Malaysia or outside Malaysia, and also as a 'gathering' for the Kelantese people . I enjoyed the Dikir Barat performance, and the food was pretty good. And, suprise suprise, I met my good ol' schoolmate, Hemy, who just got back from the States. She was like "Hey, you are not Kelantanese, aren't you?" And I'm like "Yeah.. I'm not.. I didn't understand half the jokes when they speak in Kelantan dialect.." hehe.. I only know "Make nasi dage.." =p

Hema moved to a house near Sungai Long, so I visited her new home. I decided to be adventurous and travel via train to her house. From Taman Bahagia Station, changed to KTM at KL Sentral, and all the way to Kajang Station. 1 hour.. in total. Perghh.. We had Indian food for lunch, and in the rainy afternoon, we chit chat in her room, just like the good ol' times. =)

There was a HUGE Malaysian Monopoly Board in OU, with all the popular Malaysian places as properties. It was pretty cool! Wish I can take it home! haha..
Behind us..the HUGE monopoly..

Song of the month... I first heard this song in the movie 'Closer', then much later Haz recommended me the song, and now, I've fallen in love with the song.. Hear it when you are feeling down & low, really sets the mood..
Blower's Daughter
by Damien Rice..
And so it is just like you said it would be
Life goes easy on me
Most of the time
And so it is the shorter story
No love, no glory
No hero in her sky
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off you...
And so it is just like you said it should be
We'll both forget the breeze
Most of the time
And so it is the colder water
The Blower's daughter
The pupil in denial
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off you...
Ooh - did I say that I loathe you?
Did I say that I want to leave it all behind?
i can't take my mind off you
I can't take my mind off you
I can't take my mind off you
I can't take my mind off you...
My mind...my mind...
Til I find somebody new

Oh yes...I should have a 'recap' of 2005, huh? Well, I noticed the "trend" throughout both semesters. Things started off pretty okie, but towards the end, there were hardships & all. Overall, more ups than downs. I met new friends, new accquaintances, new geng, .. new love even. But again, life is like a rollercoaster. You'll win some, you'll lose some. For 2006, I'm not gonna set any resolutions. I'm just gonna take things with the flow.. just as long as I'm healthy & happy, that's all..Lets just hope that life will go easy on me.. =)
So, farewell 2005.. Here's to great memories, and insyallah many more to come.. Cheers..
