Finally, the day has arrived.. Lan is getting married! hah.. we all got ready early & headed to one of the Uncle's banglo for breakfast.. When everybody was ready, we headed straight to the Masjid Negeri mosque..(i carried the braclet hantaran).. Soon after, Zu (the bride) came wearing all white with her family & other relatives.. When I asked her, she was feeling excited, yet nervous at the same time..(i can imagine!) When the tuk kadi finally arrived, he filled out some forms, and the akat nikah ceremony began.. Finally, after 3 lafaz (it could have been 2 lafaz, but some "technical" error occured), Zu is officially Lan's wife! It was quite an emotional "kodak" moment, I just felt so happy for the both of them..
the newly weds
After Lan sembahyang sunat nikah, the upacara batal air sembahyang was held.. Kak long had to hold "the wedding ring" tray, where else I held the "braclet" tray.. I was so touched to see them salam with each other, and exchanging rings..Oh man, They're married!! hehe.. Shortly after, we took family pics, and we urgent back to the hotel for the afternoon reception of Zu's side..

rombongan pihak lelaki...=)
Me and Kak long managed to rest a bit before the reception.. again, in similiar ordeal, we headed to that uncle's banglo as our meeting spot.. inside, all of us (the proud "rombongan pihak lelaki") wore all shades of blue.. soon after the newly weds arrived, we took of together & drove to the dewan.. Unfortunately, as soon as we reached the roundabout near Gurney Drive, it was JAM packed!! (seriously, it was not moving). we couldnt figure out why there was a jam, but we assumed that there were just too many cars on the road.. about an hour later,(yes, 1 hour of motionless car movement!) we FINALLY reached the dewan, where the guests had waited patiently for us! Lan & Zu walked in first (they both wore brownish colour), and we, the army of blues, walk in behind them.. After all the eating & photo taking, we headed back home to kl.. again, me & kak long slept (almost) all the way home...=)
