Day 2 in Kluang..after breakfast & all, my mum, kak long & I were specifically in charge of the sovenier gifts (buah tangan) for the royal family. Yes, the Royal Family of Johor Darul Takzim. Uncle Latif is the DO of Kluang, and he knows the Sultan very well and therefore had to invite the Royal Family to the wedding. And, with all the protocals & such, they (my aunty & uncle) has to give them "buah tangan" as a sign of respect & honour. So, Aunty Gee has bought Crystal covered-bowls for them (from the Sultan, all the way to their children & grandchildren!) Therefore, our duty that morning was to arrange the chocolates into these crystal bowls. It was fun arranging the chocolates (coz its so colourful..and you feel like eating them..) My mom had to do the ones for the Sultan & Sultanah, so she had to arrange the Patchi chocolates in their bowls.. (Patchi is one delicious but VERY expensive chocs! yummm.....), while me & kak long arranged for the other crystal bowls..

In the afternoon, kak as came (kak long's pet sis), and we went to "The store" to find a few items.. we managed to look at the hall, but it was still very messy & very empty.. in the progress, I must say..

After dinner, we wanted to see the Keroncong people practising their songs..so, we went back to the hall, a better set-up then what we saw just now.. Lan & Yaya (Lan's bro) sang a few numbers, just for the fun of it.. and yes, we met a very cute "anak mami" at the hall..Now I can imagine how Lan & Zu's children would look like insyallah! hehe..
