Yumi's Life Stories: Last outing with the geng..

Today was the last day of my prac! Although I didn't see any rainbow today (it was raining most of the time), but alhamdulillah, I'm glad it was over. The kids were great, but the staff..sigh..Lucky thing my mentor was sick the entire week, so I don't have to see her at all! hah..I managed to give James a Brave Heart Lion teddy bear (the one I purchased online) & Jaimee a purple teddy bear. Emma was absent today, so I'll try to give it to her when I come back. I'll miss those kids dearly..

As planned, the geng agreed to our last group outing today, since Mas, Adil & I are leaving tommorrow. So before meeting up, everyone went to Haz's place & took turns to sign the personalized picture frame that we bought for Amy as she is leaving Adelaide for good on 14th July. It was a suprise gift, so we wanted to keep it hush hush & give it to her at GJ. After some window shopping, we all headed to Gloria Jeans for our "lepaking" session.

There were additional people who came for our group outing: Syar's friend, Mel from NZ; Haz's sis, Zafi who is here on holiday; Amy's sis, Lydia who is gonna start uni in July & Irwan, who happends to be Adil's good friend & my senior in DU. So we all took heaps of group pics together, had our coffee & cake supper & just laughing all night long. We then bid farewell, especially to those whom I will only meet later this month.

Oh yeah, an incident happened. I missed the last bus home, so I didn't know what to do. I called Emma Spore, and she said she was willing to pay for my cab ride home (I was short in cash you see). So I did, and when I reached home, I saw Emma Spore & Max racing down the stairs and ran towards the taxi. They were both competing among each other to pay for my cab fair! I have such sweet neighbours! I owe them big time when I get back.

At home, I chatted with Emma, updating about each other's lives (Although we stay in the same house, but during my prac I sleep reallly early!). I then packed my stuff until 2am. Can't believe that I'll be leaving the country in about 13 hours time...
