Called Mr Bert for the usual nite call.
" Hey dia.. are you at home?"
"No..kat office.."
"Really..at this hour? SO late?"
"Yeah.. what to do.. there's lotsa work"
"Oh dear..mesti tak makan dinner lagi.."
"Uh-huh. Eh meen, I have to finish this email. I can't concentrate.."
"Oh okay.."

He puts down the phone.
Well, is not that I was upset ke aper. But, terasa la gak kan..
Anyways, I continued surfing.
Not long after, Mr Bert called back!

"Hey.. I just left the office.."

My heart smiled.
It is sweet when he 'knows' how to cheer me up, although not in the most obvious ways.

Lega..

I feel quite relief after everything has been cleared up.
Susahnya nak jaga hati semua pihak.
Again, it is all about the different culture clash..
Despite the differences, everything falls into place.
Alhamdulillah..

New Layout

Finally, managed to find time to change this blog's layout.
It is simpler.. simple & sweet.
I've added my wedding countdown, and also there's a shoutbox too.
So, hopefully I'll stick to this skin for reasonable period of time.

Latest updates..yes, we have finally agreed on the big day's date!
(Hence the countdown)

The 'dugaan' bit has started to kick in a bit. Sigh..

ring hunting again

We did surveyed around, found one ring that we both liked, but somehow, we're still not satisfied.
I wanted a pink diamond ring, but of course it is not in the budget! hehe..
Perhaps I should go for coloured stones.. but that wouldn't look like an engagement ring, would it?

Am glad to see that Mr Bert is very enthusiastic to go for ring shopping. And mind you, we're looking for MY ring, not his!
He scouted the day before we when for ring hunting, he surveyed around today.
We're supposed to meet up on Sunday to continue our hunt, but he insist that we meet up on Wednesday.
Semangat kan? But I loike! hehe..

Hopefully we'll find the right ring soon...

Mr Bert has met the lady who will be doing my hantarans over the weekend.
"So, you've discussed everything with her?"
"Yeap.. she said she'll do yours in pink."
"Pink?? Dia, it's supposed to be purple la. Pink is for nikah"
"Eh.. I thought you're giving me purple?"
"No la dia.. I am giving you blue, you are giving me purple?"
"Oh ye ke..okay, I will tell her the changes"

Aduh..sabar ajelah my dia! tsk tsk..
The other day pun, his mom also got confused with the colour scheme.
Maybe I made them confused! hmm..

Had a chat with Kak Long earlier.
She gave a few good advices:-
1) "It is your wedding. Don't bother what others think, you should decide what's best."
2) "Alah, ikut kemampuan la. Who knows in the future, you might get better things.."
3) "Isn't Kak As' story inspirational? Go Meen, you can do it!"

Okay Kak Long, I will try my best to change for the better.
It has to start..TOMORROW!!

Time sure flies..there's so much to do! *gulp!*

chat with naj

I just got off the phone with my good ol' friend, Naj.
She called all the way from Belfast..and we spoke for a total of 2 hours!
It was so fun talking to her..we chat from her hectic doctor schedule, to about married life, about Mr Bert, bout our friends. It seems that the conversation will never end. I feel like I am in high school again, back to the days when we used to 'bergayut' for hours & hours. And guess what, nothing has changed! hehe..
I miss her 'craziness'.. she still the same-ol' Naj.
Thanx for calling Naj..I hope you are able to come back for my big day!

Earlier this morning I had a trial make up.. and it turned out nice!
So, photographer checked. Make-up artist checked.
And a whole lot more to do.. 12 weeks & counting!
