"It'a raining men!"
Gosh, the weather today. Wanted to go home at 5pm, but because the rain poured SO heavily, we decided to wait till the rain ease down. 45 minutes passed, and the rain has gotten even heavier. In the end, we decided "Fine, let's just go back home now!" , and it was like a flowing river going back to my car!

I went through Jalan Travers.. and it was FLOODED so badly! Oh my goodness! I couldn't even turn left to Jalan Duta, and I was STUCKED in between many other cars! The water level was reaching half of a Kancil's tyre, and I got scared. Then, a van decided to brave through the flood.. and I followed the van. The water level was reaching below the car knob handle. I berdoa mcm nak rak.. tawakal aje.. then, before the Museum, I was free from the flood! Fyuuhh.. alhamdulillah.. I headed straight to Lake Club for a pitt stop. No point going through the heavy rain with the jammed roads during the rush hour.

After I parked, I was checking my car.. and guess what.. my front plate number went missing! Looks like the flood took it "away".. chehh... now gotta make a new one.. cian my Romeo.. but I am so thankful that both myself & my car survived the flood.

Mental note: Please remain in the office if there's heavy rain. Also, listen to the radio for traffic updates before leaving the office.

Am starting to see Mr Bert in a whole new light now, the 'other' side of him.
Yesterday's dinner was an eye opener for me.
He socialized.. he opened up.. and, the best part.. he was 'sporting' enough to dance on stage! (and enjoys it!)
Wow... I was really impressed! Never knew this side of him, which suprised me (in a good way of course!). I am SO proud of him! (^_^)

Also, am starting to learn new words from him.

Okie, there's more.. but I can't recall. Am too tired from all the rain.. hehe..

Everyday is a new experience with him. It's gonna be an interesting journey indeed..:)

Today am starting my scrap book.. have been getting lotsa ideas..
I've sorted decided on the the themes.. A mixture of these..

This song was being played in the car after our dinner yesterday.
We were "duet-ing" in the car..hehe..
Dinner was fine.. except for the spliting headache that I had.
Mesti kena hujan.. arrghh..
Mr Bert was nice enough to be patient while I slowly finish my meals.. and I was eating extra s l o w .
The past week.. Mr Bert has been more cheerful.. he has been asking a lot about my preferences, my opinions...
but, the most obvious thing..was his tummy! haha..

a father's blessing..

Today is Nani's birthday and it is also her 4th year anniversary. She is blessed with a family; a husband & a pair of twins.

Talking to her today was exciting as always. She will always keep me updated with the latest happenings, and sharing her experiences & stories.

Today, she told me about Baba.

I only met Baba during my recent KB trip, and according to Shades, it seems that I have a "chesmistry" with Baba. He is afterall a very nice fella. (refuse to say old man..hehe)

Nani told me that after my meetings with him, he has never fail to mention my name during his prayers.

"Baba selalu doakan Meen.."

My heart was beating super fast when I heard that statement.. until now, I still feel overwhealm. Syukur alhamdulillah..

Nani told me that 'good news' might happen after Raya. The first step, perhaps..Insyallah..

"..one step at a time.."

new chapter..

Salams to all..

Wow..it has been more than 6 months since I last blog.. That is super long! After much thought, I've decided to change my whole layout.. it is so neat now..quite cute too, I loike!

Now, I can't promise that I'll blog as often as I used to. Working life has been quite hectic.. By the time I reach home, I just wanna take a long warm shower, be in my chafton, and just lay down on my bed & sleep! I find it quite relaxing to just surf other blogs & read about blogger's experiences. Then it hit me... I miss that! I miss sharing my thoughts, ideas & experiences (pics too).. So yeap, now am back to blogging.. but, how frequent? God knows.. As often as I can b4 am off to bed!

How's life you may ask? Alhamdulillah, everything is good. It hasn't been all smooth for sure, but God is great. I am so blessed with everything that has been happening.. A new chapter of life might be happening soon insyallah.. (thats partly why I wanna start blogging again! to share my new found love..)

So everybody..Meen is back (at least for now!). Till then.. spread the love! (^_^)

Hola peps..HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008!

After several attempts, finnaly the pic was a success..sort of!
This year, I celebrated new year's at my own home, with close friends, great food and overlooking several fireworks from the balcony..
By 1 am, all of us were tired.. so ending up watching x-men 3 while some slept on the sofa..
Talk about "dah tua! "hahaha..


So now, 2007 has gone..
It was such a life changing experience for me in 2007.
The good, the bad..the ugly..


But hey, 2008 is here..
new year, new experiences..insyallah..

Wahh..so many ppl are getting married! can't wait..


2)MOVING HOME
I look forward for the new house..not the actual moving itself..
There goes my petrol & tol money! boohoo~



3)WORK
So far, I have reached 121 students..the january 115 target has been achieved.. alhamdulillah..
Now, I hope I can reach the 135 target by march..and 145 by end of the year..
Lots of new things for the school..new classes, new teachers..
hope this year will turn out okie..


4) TRAVEL
will my long awaited Europe trip happen this year? Insyallah, I hope so..



Hmm, thats all for now..
The list can go on & on, but I'll just stick to these first..
As everyone knows, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE..

Oh dear me..

Anyways, there are lots of happening in my school..
Current enrolment, 108.. Target 115 by Jan, 135 by March.. 145 by end of the year..
Insyallah, we will hit bull's eye!
As my admin said "Wishful thinking isn't bad afterall.."
I hope my new classrooms will be ready before the new term starts..


Oh yes, exciting news..am off to Brunei this Thursday!
Will be attending Suci's wedding & her other ceremonies : Berbedak, receptions, etc.
Needed this "short" break..my Europe trip can wait..hehe..
Am all packed for Brunei..just need to change my RM to Brunei dollars..
So Brunei, here I come~

Firstly, yes, am back in KL for good.
And yes, I got a job, alhamdulillah..
and yes, I got a new car.. hehe..

I just got back from JB actually.
We had a HUGE family gathering of the Haji Wan Ngah's family members.
He is my great-grandfather, so that makes me a "cuit" (a.k.a great-grandchild).
We had this family photo session, and boy..fitting in 200++ ppl into 1 picture aint easy! We had fun games, good food, great company..not forgetting the karaoke session!
Am proud to be part of the family..
We even launched our very own website! Visit Haji Wan Ngah to have a peep..


Okie, its obvious, am not really in the mood for blogging..
