Kak Long's wedding..

The main reason why I was back in Malaysia :- for my dearest cousin, Kak Long's wedding! She is like a sister to me actually, a sister I never had.. and the best part was I get to be the bridesmaid, for the 3rd time! yeay..


Approaching her wedding day was a daily adventure..from tayar pancit, to (my first) manicure + padicure, to inai-ing our hands + legs, practising our khatam quran.. not to mention the FOOD that Aunty Gee (kak long's mom) had prepared.. yumm..


Spending the nights with Kak Long before she becomes somebody's wife is truly something that I will remember. Her nerves, her plans, her dreams.. it ain't easy to get married! But yeah, she deserved to be happy, and I'm glad Way (her hubby) is the one for her..Wish you guys the very best of marrige life and may you both be happy together =)

Happenings in June..

Right, as promised..I shall blog (with pictures too!)..starting off with the happenings in June:-


1) my final block placement at Magill Junior Primary. 4 weeks as a student teacher at Yellow4, and I had a fab time there. Miss my kids + the teachers! A great ending to my pracs..

2) WorldCup Fever! Can't help but to support the Socceroos.. GoAussie Aussie Aussie!

3) Angie's suprise visit to Adelaide! my dear friend (and neighbour) flew all the way from Gold Coast..it was great to have her around! Shopping with her is always a blast..


4) Lamine Jalloh was born! Mr Sulay, my college lecturer who is pursuing his phD in Adelaide, was a happy father in deed..a world cup baby!

HELLO EVERYBODY..

woah.. 3 months of absense from meen.. Dont worry, I'm not dead.. I was just plain BUSY! But after reading Shadesand Miza Blogs, it got me inspired (not to mention the FREE time I have now), so I've decided to reactivate my blog! ..aktifkan dirimu!



Hmm..honestly, I dunno where to start! So many things have been happening in my life.. mostly good, alhamdulillah.. In my next entries, insyallah I will explain briefly (with pictures hopefully) the things that have been happening in my life for the past few months kay..


Currently,I am back in Adelaide, and I am officially jobless.. penganggur.. tanam anggur and sayur..hehe.. a fresh graduate, seeking for teaching employment in Adelaide. I am also waiting for my Permenant Residence (PR) visa to be approved, so that I can work here for the next 5 years. So at the moment, I am not allowed to leave the country. Therefore right now, while I can, I try my very best to enjoy this honeymoon-period-before-working as much as I can. =)


Alright..meen is back..and so is her blog! *big grin*
