Light show..

As always, whenever I finish my block placement, I will surely go to the city to meet up with Adil & Haz to "celebration" the completion of my prac. This time, we headed down to Gloria Jeans where we met up with Syar, Zia & Ina. As usual, I will order my favourite Ice-Blended Tim Tam drink. After that, we walked to Torrens park, where they has some "Light" Show for the Arts Festival. But we were late, and there were too many people around, so we only managed to watch the last 30 minute or so of the show. Since it was late at night, we all slept over at Adil's as usual..

The next day, Suci arrived in Adelaide, so Miza, Emma & I greeted her upon her arrival. She was the first one to leave last year, and this year the last one to arrive back in Adelaide! Thats a good 4 months break for you Suc! So, the MiCiMeMa geng is back! Another semester of adventures for us, I'm sure.. ;)

My Blue2 Students..

Finally, after 6 visits + 4 weeks of block placement, my JP1 prac is over! woohoo~ I had straight Year 2 students, 24 7-year-old children in Blue2 class. Honestly, it wasn't easy at first to teach them as they were a bunch of older children, and they have a different kind of mind set: they can speak for themselves, demanded more stuff, etc. I find it rather challenging at first, especially dealing with the behaviour management of the class. But, as the weeks progressed, I got used to their behaviour,and they weren't too bad after all. I did the desert animals theme with them, from singing the desert song and teaching them sign language, to learning all the different animals which lived in the desert. On my last day with them, I managed to take some pics with them. Gave out Princesses & Star Wars pencils for them, with some stickers too. I'm surely gonna miss them.. =)
