I was busy preparing stuff for next week, when 3 of my kids ran in from outside pointed to me and shouted "She can!" And I was like "Hmm, what can I do for you children?". Then Kahli said "You can be the Princess for our castle!" I was so happy to hear that, and I just smiled at them while just continued doing my work. My kindi director, Kay, went to them and told them "If you want her to be a Princess, you need to make her a crown". And they did! They were so excited about it, the put lots of pretty lil things on my crown. Once they finished the crown, of course I had to pretend to be princess at their castle (the cubby house). But hey, I was so touched... It's not always I get to be a princess! hehe.. my adorable lil' knights, you really made my day.. =)
The Christmas Pageant Parade is a once a year event that is held in Adelaide roughly a month before Chritsmas. I've been missing this parade for the past few years, but this time I have a valid reason to go. My kindi is having a "Christmas Pageant" theme next week, so I better know some stuff about it. In a way, it is an "educational" experience for me, cause I need to be see it to believe it. There were many different "floats" at the parade.. from dragons to fairies, to clowns, to pirates.. etc etc. But the grand finale was Father Christmas, a.k.a Mr Claus, who will be in the 'Magic Cave' at David Jones and will be asking children "So, have you been a good boy/ girl this year?". I think I have.. can I have lots and lots of presents Santa? *wishful thinking.. *
